Airtel ISP blocked by Squidoo
Today while opening Squidoo, I got this message -
So it looks squidoo has blocked airtel because some one spammed squidoo. Now I am not sure how smart idea is this to block an ISP like Airtel which is used by millions of Indians. I am not sure if squidoo has blocked the complete Airtel ISP or just an IP range but in any case, this must be stopping thousands of Indians to open squidoo.
Since Squidoo gets tons of traffic from google, I am assuming they all must be getting same error too! I hope this is all a big mistake and squidoo realizes this fast as blocking an ISP like Airtel (the second ISP of a India) is not a very smart idea.
On the side note, i am continuously noting that Airtel is often blocked and blacklisted by various services so may be the problem is with Airtel too, though the problem is if you call them, the chances are, the phone support people will never understand the problem :)
Hope Squidoo quickly unblock Airtel.
It clearly shows how foolish it is to depend on a system like squidoo to build your business on internet.Any moron with an internet connection is in a position to get isp banned by another moronic system like squidoo.It is clearly evident from this that these fools to do not have system to detect and protect themselves from spanners and they have devised
method of going around and blocking isps.
God save this morons
