What is 1400p
1400p Refers to the next-generation of high-definition digital TV signal format .1440p is named citing the resolution of the picture itself. This is a non-standard resolution suggested by its inventors that doubles up the vertical resolution of the 720p definition standard. This is realized to be aggregated with the typical 16:9 aspect ratio of high-definition TV, showing a horizontal resolution of 2560. This gives away an overall 3,686,400 pixels for a TV in 1440p resolution, quite greater than the 2,073,600 pixels found on any 1080p television. Since now there has not been a single release of this display device.
Digital compression techniques allowed extreme high resolution imagery to be brought down to a fraction of its actual size and transferred by comparatively low bandwidth.
1440p is not widely adopted in the media industry but is likely to be the successor to 720p. It is quite similar to the latter but has much higher pixel count. In this the resolution is exactly doubled, which creates a squared addition in the overall pixels: 3,686,400 pixels for 1440p as opposed to 921,600 pixels for the 720p format. This produces much crisper, image with better clarity and the width compression technology boosting, and its data transfer capabilities growing quickly. That is one reason because of which the added bandwidth expense is becoming less of a concern for the user.
It is a type of sophisticated digital TV that is offering a significantly larger numbers of scanning lines, & therefore producing much cleaner pictures, than that provided by the traditional, conventional high definition systems. 1440p is not a standard format for any broadcast or video display and the Chi Mei Opto Electronics device that was going to have a 1440p display as its native resolution that was announced in the year 2006 was never released. This 1440p refers to a 2560×1440 display with “progressive scan” high-definition format for Television sets expected in 2008 The extreme high bandwidth needs of high-definition TV has rendered this technology infeasible.
