I was just trying to find some ways to know whether a person can know or not if he is on ignore list of someone ? and the answer is NO, there is no way you can know if you are on someonce ignore list.

This is how yahoo messenger works and if you are not getting any response, probably you are in ignore list of that person. One thing which you can do is to send the person a instant message from other ID to see if he/she replies to that but most likely you are better off not doing such things. If someone has you on their ignore list, respect that and moves on.
