It seems ad program is finding difficult to make it onto top of google search, most likely because clicksor.com is banned in Google since only banned domains don’t appear at the top of their name (specially if you are a brand)

clicksor.com is at #1 on both yahoo and msn search but is at #47 for its own name, clearly a sign of something not right with google and clicksor. If you enter Clicksor in google, you can see the following front page results -

Google has increased its Adwords Activation and Prepayment fees for Indians. Earlier to open an adwords account, you need to pay Rs 60 but now you have to pay Rs 250 where as the minimum amount you need to pay to start your adwords campaign is not Rs 500 which was earlier Rs 120.

As per google post, the activation fees has been increased to bring it in par with adwords activation fees of other countries where as the increase in prepayment fees was done to stop adwords campaigns getting stopped very soon as Rs 120 runs out very fast.

Last week I had reported about Diggbar and how this will make users not leave digg and how it can increase overall page views count on digg many folds.

Now as a digg user, you can get another feature (not intended though) with diggbar and that is to use it as url shortening service. CTR stands for Click Through Rate and it the ratio of number of clicks on the ads divided by number of times ads were served multiplied by 100 (as CTR is represented in percentage)

For those of you who don’t know, eCPM stands for “effective cost per thousand impressions” and is calculated as your earnings divided by total impressions (in thousands) on your websites through which you made that money.

So for example, if you have made $40 out of 20,000 impressions, your eCPM will be 40/20 = 2.00, and supposed if you had made $80 out of 20,000 impressions than your eCPM would had been 80/20 = 4.00. eCPM is normally spoken with the currency name in which you have made money, so your effective CPM will be $2.00 or $4.00 in these cases.
