How I Doubled my Adsense Earnings in just 2 months
I am about to publish my may earnings in next post and for that I was compiling all my earnings sources and to my pleasant surprise, there was a huge earning increase in Adsense income. Primarily for the reason that there is 40% increase in traffic as I have worked really hard on the sites and secondly because my CTR (and obviously eCPM too) has gone up by 70% because of some changes I made into my sites (specially on mwolk). My CTR is certainly touching 3.5%+ now (aggregate for all sites) which is very good as compared to my previous CTR which used to be around 1.2% to 2.2%

Why Paypal give Less Conversion rates from Dollar to Rupees
If you uses paypal and are in India (or in any non US country) you would had noticed that paypal always gives about 3% less conversion rate from US Dollars to any non US currency. For example, today (1st June 2009)’s current Dollar to Indian rupee conversion as per Google (which shows most recent data for currency rates) is 1 USD = 47.02 INR and its only getting less as dollar is again gaining strength (last week it was about 47.5+)

Accidentally deleted web page or image ? recover it using Google Cache
Being a developer is not easy, specially if you like to do things in hurry and are absent minded like me. I am sure you must have edited, deleted few files only to later realize that the older files are gone forever. So here is the solution which may work for live sites. But first, the background story -
Yesterday while building a site for a client, I accidentally overwrote few files without realizing what I am doing! Now after few hours, I got a super angry mail that “what the ##c# I did, the site got changed and now the images are not there as well as the recent changes are gone, fix it everything immediately”
