What is DVB

Digital Video Broadcasting (better known as DVB) is a group of open standards (accepted worldwide) that apply on digital television. An international group of over 270 members (industry experts) called the DVB Project, maintains these standards, which are published by these committees: European Committee for Electrotechnical Standardization (CENELEC), Joint Technical Committee (JTC) of European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI) and European Broadcasting Union (EBU).

DVB sub-standards are listed and presented in the DVB Cookbook. Different aspects of DVB have been patented, and that includes various elements of coding MPEG videos and audio files. DVB has a list of approaches used for the distribution of data: satellite, cable, terrestrial television, digital terrestrial television and microwave distribution.

Who invented the car

Have you ever wondered Who invented the car ? This is not an easy question to answer, since different resources offer different information about the car inventor. The history of the modern cars is very colorful and it begins back in the 15th century when Italian mastermind Leonardo da Vinci draw, designed and even created mock-up for various vehicles. Throughout the centuries, a huge variety of models and car types was developed: from steam powered cars, to the electric ones, then the gasoline was discovered as a fuel, and finally we got to the modern version of cars, as we know them, in the 19th century.

It is certain that two Germans are responsible for this revolutionary invention that changed the way world functions. Carl Benz and Gottlieb Daimler, both took credit for making the first car.

Who Invented Television

Have you ever wondered Who Invented Television ? Television is one of the prolific inventions of the twentieth century, has given rise to an amazing disagreement, it has not been resolved up till now. The intricacy in concluding who helped create the television revolves around the fact that they all really helped to contribute to the creation of the television.

Way back in 1884, Paul Gottlieb Nipkow (Germany) formulated a groundbreaking “Nipkow disc”, which sent out various picture details, with the help of a rotating disc. The guide in this invention, to channelize these picture images, is believed to be a wire. In the year 1920, John Logie Baird, a Scots inventor came up with his original technology, in which arrays of see-through rods were used to transmit images, which can be watched on a TV.
