Video Multiplexer

A video multiplexer is a technology that can read more than one video signals and turn them into one. It has a lot of functions in the media section. It can also redirect the signals and multiply or to say amplify the signals in order to get a better view.

When a scene is shot by a video camera the shooting format is sometime quite different than the format we see in the TV or VCR or DVD player etc. It is the video multiplexer that alters the signals and turns them into a compatible format for TV or other home used objects. Most of the time the movies are not shoot in compatible formats but shot in extremely high resolution camera and in a high definition format that is unsuitable for our TV. It is the video multiplexer that makes it possible for us to watch those movies sitting right in our home.

Until then the UNIX operating system is developed, improved and customized by a lot of organization and programmers including the organization called AT&T.

Now as we have been learning enough about the UNIX operating system we can talk about the emulators as well. Basically emulating software refers to software that has the power or ability to compete with a certain type or the software of same criteria. There are three types of UNIX emulators and they are Cygwin, MKS Toolkit, and UWIN. All these have the UNIX like working method but a bit of difference that made them the UNIX emulators. What is TKIP

What is TKIP

Temporal Key Integrity Protocol or TKIP is a protocol which is used for encryption. It is a part of Wireless LANs or WLANs’ IEEE 802.11i standard. The purpose of this design was to provide better security encryption than the disreputably vulnerable Wired Equivalent Privacy or WEP which was the original security protocol for WLANs. TKIP is an encryption method which is used by Wi-Fi Protected Access or WPA that replaced WEP in the products of WLAN.

TKIP is basically suite of algorithms which works as covering over WEP, which permits individuals of legacy WLAN tools to advance to TKIP without even replacing the hardware. TKIP basically uses the fundamental WEP programming but encapsulates the code with the additional code on the starting and in the end in order for modification in protocol. TKIP also uses RC4 stream encryption algorithm for its source just like WEP. Whereas the new protocol encrypts each and every data packets with a matchless encryption key. These keys are even stronger than the previous ones. TKIP has four additional algorithms to increase its key strength: Continue Reading “What is TKIP” »
