Are you running out of time or getting irritated to login different GMail and HotMail accounts frequently? Now, you can work on both in GMail and no need to login HotMail separately. Yes, you can access your HotMail account through GMail and even you can access MSN.com and Live.com mail accounts as well.

Basically it’s a very easy process to activate this feature on you GMail account. Just login to your GMail account and go to Settings. Next click the Accounts tab where you will get an option, “Add a mail account you own”. Just click this link.

 Next, you will be asked to enter your Hotmail, MSN or Live email address.

Next, you’ll have to enter the username and relevant password for that particular account followed by the POP Server and Port setting. Select the POP server from the list as applicable (pop3.live.com). Here don’t forget to check the option “Always use a secure connection (SSL) when retrieving mail”.

On the next screen you’ll be asked whether you want to send mail from that account, click yes and that’s all.

Now, GMail will send a confirmation email containing a code to your Live or Hotmail account. Check out that mail and enter the verification code correctly. After completing the verification process, you are done. Now you can send and receive mail from that account on GMail. While sending new mails, you’ll get the newly added account on a dropdown list.

Also, if you like to access you Live or Hotmail account from desktop client in place of GMail, you can use Thunderbird.
