With Duplicate Post Checker plugin you can simply check if there is any similar post already posted. After installing this plugin, you can see a small icon under the WRITE NEW POST link, and just by clicking that you can search out similar posts if your blog contains any. It also has many features apart form just finding duplicate posts only. For example, it summons up a list of all common posts, finding nearest entries with automatic and manual modes.

With manual mode this plugin creates a master list of all duplicate posts and option to delete individually or in sequence. Also, for delete operation you can create rules such each delete oldest or newest. If your blog collects a huge daily posts you can also run cron job automatically in auto mode after a specific sequence of time.
