Best Free Software to Clean History
If you are looking for a free software which cleans all browsing history, then you have to give a try to CCleaner which in my opinion is one of the best freeware available on net. CCleaner claims to have more then 260 million downloads (I am not sure its very accurate as it looks very high!) and is certainly one of the most installed and popular software.
What it does ? - It deletes Temporary files, history, cookies, Autocomplete form history, index.dat, cookies, form history, log files, recent documents (in windows), cleans registry (CCleaner is one of the best free registry cleaners) as well temp files created by various other programs.
The best part of CCleaner is, its very easy to use, small, fast and does exactly what it says and in matter of seconds, it cleans all the browsing history from your system (and much more).
A great advantage of using ccleaner is when you want to make space in C:\ drive, just run it and it can easily make few hundred MB space by removing browsed history, internet history, cache etc. You may want to be careful though before running it as by default it also removes all the cookies. When I runs CCleaner, I uncheck the cookies option as the last thing I want to do is to again type login/passwords for hundreds of sties which I browse.
As said, CCleaner is also an excellent free registry cleaner, I haven’t used its registry cleaning feature as I never required it but people often say, it is the best (well the actual downloads of the software may be very close to 260 million then!) free software to clean your registry. Ya, CCleaner is by far the best software I have seen and I am surprised that they are able to offer it for free!
To be fair that 260 million thing do not look realistic, How many PC’s in the world has Windows ?
I too have nevver used it for cleaning registry but for temp file removing, its the best

You should use google search without being logged into your gmail account. Also google do allows you to clear your browsing history.
For any kind of local desktop based history, cclearner will clean it for you.
