Convert WAV to MP3
There are many ways to convert WAV to MP3 format. You can use free tools like Audacity to achieve this in few clicks. Also there is a process through which you can convert your favorite tracks in WAV to MP3 format without installing any special software. You just need a blank or CDRW and Windows Media Player 9 or above.
- First of all write all your favorite tracks in an audio CD using any writing software like nero or you can use Windows Media Player.
- If you are using Windows Media Player to burn the audio CD, then you have to select the “Burn” option from top toolbar of Media Player like below. Now just put WAV tracks you want.
- Next insert a black disc or CDRW in case you need to convert a bunch of files and hit the “Start Burn” at the top left section.
- Now after the Audio CD is ready close Media Player and reopen it.
- After this, select the “RIP” option from the top toolbar and you will get all tracks listed here.
- Now simply select all tracks and click the “Rip Music” button at the top right section.
Now all tracks will be converter into MP3 format. Before Ripping the audio CD make sure that the output format is set as MP3. You can set or change this setting from Tool -> Options menu and the select “Rip Music” tab. Here you will get a screen like below where you can set the format and quality of the output file. Also, you can set the output directory here.
