WP-Live-Chat is said to be a mIRC web chat client (plugin) for your wordpress blog. It enables you to create chat rooms for your members on your blog. Previously, this plugin has no support for Freenode. Now, on the latest release, WP-Live-Chat plugin comes with TWO separate versions namely, WP-Live-Chat-Adult and WP-Live-Chat-Freenode. Both plugin uses and functions and variables, but you can only activate any one of these at a time. But remember, activating both of these may cause error and crash your blog as both versions uses same function.

The WP-Live-Chat-Adult uses external server and fetch data from that location. So, in terms of security I’ll suggest you not to activate the Adult version and go with the Freenode.

It has many options and you can configure as per you requirement. WP-Live-Chat comes with a range of skins to match your blog’s looks. On the chat connect button you can use any image and whenever a member from you blog clicks that image, the chat window opens.

In addition, upcoming versions of WP-Live-Chat thinking about integrating more IRC server/ network like Freenode. So, visit the plugin’s homepage for any available update.
