Create, Manage and Edit Your Notes with Sidenote on Mac

First of all I would like to mention that SideNote is a Mac only application. If you have the need to work with Text Editor frequently for daily notes then Sidenote would be really helpful for you and with its multi-functionality you will get a complete new experience.

After installing Sidenote, it will be located on the left side of your desktop. It works like a drawer application and hides automatically when it is not needed and opens whenever you move the mouse cursor over it. Sidenote uses RTFD format which is default text format in Mac. Sidenote helps you edit any document’s font size, color, style, and you can also attach image. Sidenote also supports drag and drop facility.

Normally Sidenote stays on the left side of desktop and it can be opened with hot key Alt+Command+O also with previously mentioned mouse over option. Most of the operations of Sidenote can be done with hot keys which can be configured at the preference section of Sidenote. It also gives you the option to export, email or print your note. You will get all these options right under the preference icon. You can see add new note, delete current note, save current note and change font icons at top of the window as a dropdown menu.

As whole it is a tiny, quite useful for daily use and handy application for Mac. You can download Sidenote here.
