DHCP Relay
What is DHCP Relay ? The DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol) is used to assign IP addresses to DHCP clients and also to allocate information about the DHCP. This information includes DNS IPs, subnet mask details, WINS IPs, and default gateway IPs.
The DHCP Relay Agent may be used by a few of the following server systems:
- Windows NT Server
- Windows 2000 Server
- Windows Server 2003
