There are various other types of different mounting software` according to the file format. Some of the most popular types of mounting software` are Alcohol 120%, ISO Info, Clone DVD, Magic ISO, Magic Disc, Power ISO and win RAR.

After downloading magic disc you will find the icon in your system tray. Right clicking on the icon for magic disc you will find various options such as Virtual CD/DVD Rom, number of drives, unmount all dirves, make CD/DVD image, etc. In the virtual CD/DVD ROM display you will be able to find a drive most probably in this format F: No Media. Select that option and it will show you many more different options such as Mount, Unmount, Edit CD/DVD Image, Burn CD/DVD Image, Change drive letter, etc. After selecting the mount option you need to specify the location of your mount image.

After selecting the mount option you can specify the URL of the image which you would like to mount. Mount image can be verified by viewing the compact disk folder. If there is no image in the drive folder then probably it is due to different file formats. Making CD/DVD image by using mount image software is easier. ISO files can be compressed and transferred through various different ways. There are other options such as Auto Mount and Auto verify which help in mounting the software automatically.
