Digg made some changes in the way you look at stories now as now you can see the stories inside digg instead of clicking links and leaving digg. Digg has started using frames so the stories can be seen inside a frame. Here is how it looks like -

Showing digg news inside frames is an interesting move by digg and can go either way though most likely it looks like it will do more good to digg. The number of page impressions for digg will surely get doubled as people instead of leaving digg, will stay on page. So if say daily 1 million clicks are made on digg stories, those 1 million/day page views will stay with digg.

I don’t see any ads right now at the top of digg frame and I don’t think digg will be putting it anyway, as this will create severe backlash and may create potential copyright problems of showing someone else content and making money from it. Even if digg don’t show ads, still this huge increase in page impressions will surely help getting big numbers.
