Disable XP Security Warning “Your computer might be at risk”
Here I am going to tell you a very small but useful tip to get rid of annoying XP security warning. If you are using Windows XP SP2 then you must be aware of one warning saying “Your computer might be at risk” – from a crossed red icon at system tray.

It’s really annoying and sometime novice users treat this message as their system may be infected. Actually this error message popup to warn you that you don’t have any antivirus and firewall installed on your PC and automatic update is turned off.
You can easily stop this irritating message by following steps mentioned below …
[1] Go to Start Menu-> Control Panel and open the Security Center.
[2] Now on the Security Center window you will get few options at the left bar, here click on the last item “Change the way Security Center alerts me”.
[3] Next you’ll get the following window named “Alert Setting” and here just uncheck all 3 options – Firewall, Automatic Updates and Virus Protection.
That’s all, now you will never get that annoying warning message. Don’t worry by disabling those there will be no problem on your system. It will work normally.
