Find Latest Blog Postings and Content with Google Blog Search
I often like to search specific content rather then generic content on Google search, say content on specific websites or to search in google books or google base. I also like to look into blogs alone to get the common man’s voice, views and opinions.
For example, Oracle bought Sun Microsystems and the front page was filled with authority news websites but I wanted to know what bloggers are talking about the deal, so for this, I used Google Blog Search.
In fact Google Blog Search is an excellent tool to get the voice in blogosphere. It is way more then RSS aggregator like newsvine and offers very up to date results. For examples, I had made this post about Cuill Failure few hours back and now it is being shown on Google Blog Search. Most of the other sites which aggregates RSS feeds don’t update their search index so fast.
So Google blog search is a great way to find what bloggers are talking about recent news and happenings across the globe.

Google blog Search is fine but you can also look at http://technorati.com/ and http://www.icerocket.com/ - technorati came way before google blog search and I still feels it is better then it, even though, its index don’t updated as fast as Google’s. IceRocket is just built on rss feeds of blogs submitted to it, so may be not that big.
