Find Network Key
If you are in a university network or any other private wireless network and want to use network to connect to internet, you need to know the network key or wep key as almost all private wireless networks uses a wep key so everyone can not use it.
Here is the process to find network key for wireless internet access.
1. Open any standard browser like Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox.
2. Type 192.168.1.1 on the address bar of the browser window and press enter. In few cases the address is 192.168.0.1, so try with this address if the first one fails to open the router setting page.
3. You will be asked for username and password. By default both username and password is “admin” (without quotes). But, for few routers, the username is “admin” and password is blank.
4. Now you will get the router setting screen on your browser. This screen differs manufacturer to manufacturer.

5. Next go to the Wireless section.
6. Click on the Security Link/ Button.
7. Here you will get the security keys if WEP Encryption is on. In the length of networks keys are 13 to 26 hexadecimal characters for 128 bit encryption and 5 to 10 for 64 bit encryption.

This ofcourse is only applicable if you are connected to network
and want to know your neywork key. If you are not connected to network there is no way you can know network key unless you go to server admins and ask them.

if you want to know wireless wep key then the only way is to ask the network admins and get the authorization. Trying to use someone elses networks resources is intrusion since its a private network and is illegal.
