MWolk Blog is a relatively new blog in blogosphere but I am not new to blogs and I have certainly seen lot of blogs getting big and successful along with their owners as well as many blogs getting failed. Before I come to the main point of this post, you may like to read how to stay focused while blogging and how to be successful online posts.

Now this post is about finding your own Niche in blogging which means finding your topic to write about. Here are 3 reasons why you should build a niche blog instead of another cookie cutter tech blog

1. Lets be honest, there are like hundred thousand tech blogs writing about technology, most of the content is just getting recycled, I mean how many times have we seen same best firefox plugins posts ? also there is not much scope for small blogs to make room for them against big blogs likelifehacker which probably has covered everything so far.Even if you publish better article then lifehacker, the chances are you can’t overtake it in search engine rankings. It was easy to put a tech blog in 2005, not in 20009, and certainly not with same content which are on others blogs.

2. The biggest advantage of creating your own niche is that you can be an authority in it and being the authority gives very high return in everything, in earnings as well as blog value evaluation. Of course everyone can’t be authority in anything so you need to look into topic which suits you and you can say confidently that you know more in this subject then others.

3. Look for that niches, which are broad and have depth and where the content is never ending. The biggest reason why there are so many tech blogs because they are most easiest to to build and write content about. Each day you see something on which you can write about without thinking much, which is not possible in other niches, but this is where you have to take a decision. Blogs with higher returns will obviously take more time and effort but make sure the niche is not too very narrow as I have seen sometimes people target too narrow niche and then after 4 months runs out of all topics or find that not many people are interested in what they are writing.

So to summarize the whole post, if you want to be successful in making money online through blogging, do not copy others, make your own space by writing stand out quality posts.
