First week of pregnancy
The first week of pregnancy is considered as the most crucial moment of a woman’s life and she should take necessary precautions in order to ensure safety and proper growth of fetus. During this period, development of body parts of an unborn baby takes place so it is important for a mother to consume healthy and nutritious diet. It is recommended that she should consult a doctor immediately and she can involve herself in physical activities on advice of doctor.
Process
In first week of pregnancy, ovulation period takes place in which sperm and egg from ovary joins together in fallopian tubes of a mother to produce zygote leading to the production of embryo. The uterine lining gets thickened in order to receive the egg and produces higher amount of progesterone. When egg is implanted it produces cilia which later become placenta. A woman experiences various problems during the first week which include problems like increased fatigue, nausea, stomach cramping, spotting or frequent urination to name a few which make mothers confused because these symptoms are same as those of menstrual cycle.
First Week Pregnancy Symptoms
Enlisted are some of the symptoms which a woman experiences during the first week of pregnancy:
• When a woman suffers from high exhaustion problem which sometimes result in lowering down the blood pressure making a woman unhealthy.
• Nausea and stomach pain
• Frequent urination
• If a woman experiences implantation bleeding which refer to bleeding from the uterus where the egg is implanted. It may also lead to abdominal pain.
• Swelling in breasts is another common symptom which indicates that a woman is pregnant.
• If a lady experiences sudden dramatic mood swings like joy, anxiety, depression etc which are the outcome of hormonal changes also indicates that a woman is pregnant.
• Acidity, gas problem and constipation. These are other symptoms which show signs of pregnancy. Though these can be cured by consuming healthy diet.
Risk involved
• Avoid consuming junk food, alcohol and spicy food as it not good for the health of mother and an unborn baby. Expecting mother should consult a doctor for a healthy diet chart, medications and physical activities which she can perform in order to keep herself busy.
• Lack of awareness about the pregnancy causes major risk of losing the unborn baby. If you are expecting for the first time it is suggested that you should observe all the changes taking place in your body and consult a doctor immediately.
