1. These codes only work for new account, so create a new adwords account. Make sure you are not an existing user of adwords as for people using multiple adwords account is illegal and against adwords terms of services which can get all your accounts disabled.

2. After creating the account and confirming the activation email, sign in to your adwords account, and follow the instructions to fill the “Billing preferences” under payment tab. You will be needed to fill the credit card info.

3. Now fill the Google adwords code mentioned above into promotional code field including hyphens.

4. Click save and activate.

In few hours, your adwords account should have the assigned money which you can use to get some traffic from adsense.
