In my adsense optimization tips I had said that sometimes using adsense in RSS feeds can work for you and sometimes can go against you. It alot depends on what kind of readers you have and what kind of blog you have. Now I don’t use adsense in the feed of MWolk Blog but we do have a feed of our Proxy section to which we have over 2500+ subscribers including both feed readers and email subscribers. Now I uses adsense in the feed and for me, it works pretty well.

I have to remove the impressions, number of clicks CTR and CPM to comply with adsense policies which says you should not disclose this info. The feed earnings is not ground shattering but is decent enough for something for which I don’t do much (I spend daily 5 minutes to approve the list of proxies).

I have also noticed that clicks on RSS feed ads pay way higher then on normal ads as advertisers think that people reading feeds are highly targeted crowd and there are less chances of click fraud so they do pay way higher amount per click.

So if you have a website or blog offering RSS feed, you may like to monetize it (at least on trial basis) as it can easily increase your daily adsense earnings by 20% depending on the number of feed subscribers you have.
