Yahoo Glue India was launched back in the summer of 2008 with lot of hope and hype and of being the next generation mesh up service which can provide all the information in one page, it hasn’t gone very far.

Yahoo glue was the project of Yahoo India built by Indians and its purpose was to build pages on topics like finance, health, travel etc where people can get all text, image, audio, video, reviews at one place. Each glue page is can be built using various services like wikipedia, yahoo and google images, google blog search, youtube etc by taking relevant content from them so the person can get all the information available on these websites at one place. These glue pages were supposed to show in yahoo search results to better the user experience (and probably to retain the user to yahoo site only)

After one year, I still see good number of pages indexed in Google and yahoo glue pages showing in Indian yahoo search results, so the project is still running but probably with not that high priority due to yahoo having all kind of problems.  .
