Here are 5 tips to avoid getting smart priced -

1. The single most biggest reason of getting smart priced is having low quality websites and since smart pricing affect your whole account the bad quality sites affects good quality sites too. Now you have two options to avoid this -

a) Stop using adsense on low quality sits which are not very high in content and not getting quality traffic. An example will be gaming, video and wallpaper websites. they don’t convert well for advertisers and many times these sites get the whole adsense accoutn smart priced. You can use other programs like adbrite, kontera etc.

b) Use your friends adsense account on your low quality sites. It won’t be easy as you may have to share some revenue with your friend but sometimes it works really well.

2. If the first option is not possible, you can try to improve the quality of site by reducing the number of ads. Say instead of using 3 ad blocks, you can use 1 or 2 ad block along with google adsense search and ad unit. You can also try to mix other programs with adsense.

3. You can remove adsense for couple of weeks and then again put it on your site. People often says (I can’t confirm though) that this reset your account and you basically start afresh. If you have multiple sites, you may have to remove ads from all the accounts.

So these were some suggestions to help you to over google adsense smart pricing. Honestly there is nothing much you can do to trick the system so just play by rules, Write quality content and get quality traffic which converts well for advertisers.
