2. Select ‘Internet Options’.
3. Go to ‘General’ tab in the window that appears.
4. Click ‘Clean History’ and then click ‘Ok’.
The above steps will clean the browsing history of Internet Explorer.

Using a tool to clean Internet Explorer browsing history

Sometimes, it can be a burden to clean the browsing history using the manual method; especially if you are to clean it daily. As a solution for this, you can employ software for automating the cleaning process.

You can schedule these software programs to clean the browsing history periodically. This reduces the risk of forgetting to clean the browsing history and also reduces the effort it takes when done manually.

There are many freely available ‘history cleaning software’ in the Internet. You can just download and make use of those but you will have to be precautious when doing so. This is due to the fact that many freely available history cleaning software contain malware and they will be potentially harmful to your computer.
