How to get Rapidshare Premium Account for Free

Rapidshare is the biggest website on internet for sharing files by a long distance. If you have used Rapidshare even once (which I am sure you have), you will know the hassle you have to go through when downloading a file. First of all, you need to wait until the timer finishes. And then, you are allowed only a couple of downloads a day. Not to mention, free rapidshare accounts do not support download resumption or download accelerator,

To overcome all this problem, rapidshare wants you to go with premium account which supports rapidshare financially. Now the problem is, everyone can not afford to pay rapidshare, say students or people who don’t have credit cards/paypal so for such people, there are other ways of getting free rapidshare premium account.

Methods to get Rapidshare Premium account For Free

You can get Free Premium Rapidshare account in 3 ways -

1. Rapidshare Premium account through Rapidshare Points
2. Offer based 3rd party Rapidshare accounts
3. Rapidshare Premium Link Generators

Lets look at all these three one by one.

Rapidshare Premium account through Rapidshare Points - Rapidshare offers a way for those who don’t have money to pay to have premium account by uploading files. So if you upload a file of size more then 1 MB and a person (who is not a premium user) downloads the file, you will get one point. Its worth noting that in 1 hour, only 5 points from one user will be calculated so if a person downloads more than 5 files in less then an hour, the uploader will only get credited 5 points, This has been done to avoid abuse of rapidshare and to make more free user to purchase premium accounts as rapidshare puts download limit per IP per hour.

So whenever a person download 1 file which is more than 1 MB, the uploader gets 1 rapidshare point and for every 10,000 points, he can convert them to 1 months rapidshare premium subscription which is worth 7 euro’s or roughly US $10. I have seen lot of college students religiously uploading pdf files to get rapidshare premium accounts :) Its a good method to save money if you have lot of time.

Offer based 3rd party Rapidshare accounts - Many websites offer premium rapidshare accounts for free but after you will some forms or fill some offer.The trick is that these websites get money (say $1 for every referral they make) and in return they give the person some rapidshare premium bandwidth.

The process is quite straight forward.
1. You take part in one offer
2. Refer some of your friends (provide email addresses of some of your friends)
3. Get the premium membership for free.

Do note that such sites only give rapidshare premium links and not accounts. You can find such sites while searching in google. Unfortunately most of these sites don’t last long.

Rapidshare Premium Link Generator

There are many websites which generate premium links from ordinary links so you can use download accelerator on them.

1. Search on Google for Rapidshare premium link generator, you can find loads of such sites. Many of them may not work but some should work.
2. Enter your Rapidshare URL (the file URL) in the text box provided in such sites.
3. Click ‘Download’.
4. Now your download will be considered as through a premium account by Rapidshare and you will enjoy the high bandwidth availability and no delays.

You will only have 5 or 10 opportunities for downloading through such rapidshare link generator websites. The problem with premium link generators is that they are heavily used by others and they quickly run out of bandwidth.

So these are 3 ways of How you can get Premium Rapidshare account for Free. I think the first method is the best one and will give you a good long term permanent solution as I haven’t seen the rest two working that well.

    Just buy one, saves time. You get points for being a prenium member (6000 each time) and 10 points each download they make on a 1MB file so you can extend you account easily if you are a frequent uploader.

    I have bought one prenium account and that was 2 years ago, i am still a prenium account user and only paid 27 euros (20 pounds then), so 20 pounds for a 2 year account is not bad. I upload every week, its only becuase i have other means of getting those download like forums and bloggers that i get up to 250 points per day.
