Inlinks

In the past i had covered about textlinkads and how bloggers can make easy money from it by selling links, albeit there are chances of your blog getting penalized.

Now the same company has launched another service, calling it Inlinks (it was launched some time back actually as a separate entity from textlinkads). Inlinks offers selling of incontent post links which means once you install the inlinks module/plugin onto your wordpress, movable type or drupal blog you don’t have to do anything and inlinks programs will sell links on your blog automatically. Since the links are sold incontent and there are no traces or footprints of selling links, I can easily see many bloggers must have started using it (I know many who are using it).

This time it seems that it is very difficult to detect Inlinks links as earlier TLA used to use a .xml file and all the sits with that file got penalized from google when their Page Rank got reduced to zero, but this is not the case this time. I am not sure if there is still any way for google to track inlinks as this is a cat and mouse game.

My advice will to be careful if you are serious blogger like me. You don’t want to lose your blog and its rankings just for few dollars more, specially if you get most of the traffic from google.

well if you have a good blog, better don’t use it or else you are screwed badly. The reason being, though its hard to detect I still feels sooner or later, google is going to caught such blogs and going to penalize such blogs which are selling links. Its just a matter of when…

Actually inlinks is a fairly decent service, yes, there is chance of it getting back to you and hurting but no one is forcing you to use it. Its there, if you want, you can use inlinks or leave it.

I think its good for people with not much traffic from google

Yes Steven, that’s true. I think inlinks is only useful for those who have blogs with very little organic traffic. Anyone using inlinks on his blog which gets lot of traffic from google is asking for trouble.
