Installed Comment Luv and Nofollow Free Wordpress Plugin
Personally I am a great believer in awarding someone (and feels same about it) to someone who is doing something for you, now I was seeing that I was getting like 20 comments per day from people on the blog (and 30 comments daily on India Blog) and I felt I should dofollow the comments as well as use comment luv plugin which shows latest posts of the commentators’ blog. Since I read all the comments before approving them, so someone spamming the comment is not possible and I anyway won’t be approving Thank you and Great post kind of comments.
I feels every blogger should use Comment Luv and Nofollow Free plugin as the commentators should get something in return for taking their time and putting helpful comments. Not to mention this will improve the quality of comments as well increase in the number of comments.
What do you think about this ? will you install comment luv and nofollow free plugins on your blog ?

I too have both the CommentLuv and DoFollow plugin installed on my blog. It’s a way of thanking those that leave comments.
I go through all the comments and see which ones deserve to be there and which ones don’t. I must say that after installing the 2 plugins mentioned above, my comments have increased and interaction with some commentators have also increased.
Do you approve each comment or do you set it to go through and then approve or reject? This is a question I have asked myself a 1000 times before. I have just set my comment settings to ‘Comment author must have a previously approved comment’. I hope that is the right thing to do, please correct me if I’m wrong.

I admire commentluv plugin and use it on my main website.. Atleast it gives a reason to users to add comment …
Though new Google announcement of following nofollow links making me to remove it.. What do you suggest??

I have noting against it and use it on my Blogger blog and as I am Still figuring out Wordpress I will install it later. I don’t get many Comments on my blog and mainly Allow all but there was one comment where I deleted it because i was writing about an Affiliate Program and the person who made the comment was stealing my Sale by saying he knew how to use it better so I removed it. Also he had never commented on my blog Before and Came in with such a Bold Comment.

Hi, I use comment luv on my sites. As long as people visit my site and leave good quality comments then they will get approved. It helps with their site rankings and it helps with mine. After all that is what Google wants, to share information with good content. Mark

I just added the CommentLuv plugin to my site, hoping to generate more interactivity and just now discovered the No follow Free plugin from an email newsletter I get… I didn’t realize they could co-exist but glad to hear that they can… just downloaded No Follow so I think I’ll go play with them now and get them working! Glad I found your post on this… thought it had to be one or the other…
Thanx!

Hi,
Nice blog, I see I need to stay here and read many more of your posts because I am kinda new at this and I have lots to learn. Thank you for the opportunity to learn from you.
I have two blogs now, with a third in the planning stage. I have Commentluv, Keywordluv, and DoFollow on both of them. I have noticed a definite help in my rankings with them. I feel that my blogs are here to help people and using these plugins are just another way to do that.
Besides we both get help don’t we? The blog gets content and they get a backlink. Sort of a give and take relationship.
My only problem is that most people leaving comments do not really seem to know how to leave a substantial comment. I tend to go longer in my posts because I recently graduated from an online university. The weekly discussions had the same requirments “substantial posts, with relative content, and must add to the conversation.”
Another long post, I’m sorry.

I also think that every blog needs the do-follow plugin, because it is better to get more visitors and so on.
it is nothing bad to it

I would love to know how and where I can get the No Follow Free plug-in. More importantly, can I use it on Blogger?
