Some of online bandwidth testers are www.speedtest.net and www.speakeasy.net.

Apart from those above I have discovered an interesting program: Speed Test Pro. It can test not only internet speed but a whole bunch of other things: your website band width, maximum speed of the internet connection, download speed, upload speed, total upload and download, upload, download and total errors, local area connection (LAN) sped and WiFi speed. This is only the internet part. There are also monitors for hardware and software part. For all this information you can have all kind of graphics you can use to monitor the data. The only downside is the fact you have to pay for the full version – $49.95 USD.
