Laptop Screen Replacement

If you are 100% sure that your old laptop screen is totally gone and needs to be replaced by a new one then you can replace it yourself without any technical knowledge. Just following the steps mentioned below for easy Laptop Screen Replacement.

  • So, first of all de-touch all power connections to your laptop and remove the battery.
  • Now you have to locate the screws on your laptop screen. Normally these screws are covered with small soft rubber pad.

 

  • You can remove those rubber pads with small knife or flat-headed screw driver.
  • Next, with proper screw driver de-touch the outer panel.

  • Now after exposing the screen, search for the label at the back for manufacturer’s part number. It will help you to find exact matching screen for your laptop. So, while buying new screen always ensure the existing part/ model number.
  • After this you need to de-touch the screen by removing all connecting cable such as power cable and data cable followed by few screws.

  • Now you can simply remove you screen and place the new screen in reverse process.

Few points to note –

  • Make sure to remove the laptop battery first of all.
  • While removing the screws never, press on the screen of any part of your laptop.
  • Use soft cotton cloth while placing the new screen on your laptop panel.
