How to make a 3D photo in Photoshop

There are follwoing steps you have to follow in order to make a 3d photograph.

1.  Firslty select the picture that you want to make it 3d.
2.  Now open your photograph using Adobe Photoshop 7.0/ CS2/ CS3.
3.  Now when your  picture is opened in Photoshop, you have to unlock the background layer that can be found in the layer panel on right side of your photoshop window.

4.  Now draw a scetch by using a Lasso tool in order to  dublicate a part of the picture as show. After selecting  copy the selection and paste it in a new layer. This will result into a frame look formation.

5.  Now also mask all those detials that you want to make look linke 3d. Now dublicate all the masked part by copying it and pasiting it in a new layer. For every details creating new layers results into better handling of specific picture areas.

6.   When you done with the 5th step you have to select  mask object and press right click and select “inverse selection” (This will select all the rest areas of pictures other than the masked objects) and press on delete. This will cutt out all the areas other than the masked object as shown in the picture.

7.  Now create a new layer and fill the layer with the gradient color ranging from white color to light gray color. The white color must be on the top of and the light gray on the bottom of the gradient color.

8.  Now you can create the shadow effect to have a 3d effect on your picture. For that create a new layer and fill it with black color and place it under the photo at suitable positon.

9.  Now goto the layer panel and select the black shadow layer and decrese its opacity level to 60% as shown.

10.  Now save the document in JPEG format and to do that goto file menu > save as> and then choose the image type to jpeg and save it. And here you have a nice beautiful 3d effect of your picture.
