If you are looking for some ways to make money online, here is one really good suggestion, specially if you have good writing skills and enjoys writing, start offering copywriting service and writing for freelance websites.

I too had started like this as technical writer back in 2005 along with freelance programmer and I am still doing both even now.

Squidoo – Squidoo works on adsense sharing model and is the only such site from which I have made some money from it (without even knowing!). You create lenses on any topic and gets paid over period of time as the lenses gets traffic. One good thing about squidoo is that you can use your affiliate links in your lenses so you can make instant income from the lens other then squidoo paying you.

HubPages – HubPages is just like squidoo, you can create hubs and gets paid when your hubs gets traffic and people click on ads. Hubpages keeps part of the earnings and give the rest to you. I am not a great fan of hubpages simple for the reason that they have put too much ads on the hubs and most of the hubs lacks quality, still a good source for writing content and making money if you can write lot of hubs.

Helium – Helium just like squidoo and hubpages is a site where you write articles and get paid when your article makes money though for good writers, helium also pays upfront money.

Constant Content – Constant content is an online market where you can buy and sell your content. So unlike other sites where you have to publish your content and when the people reads your article, click on ads and then you gets paid, in Constant Content, you get immediate money by selling your content.

Associated Content – Associated content is a very popular site among writers and marketers as articles on it rank high in google giving them good exposure and finding easy clients and readers. AC has its own writers payout program where they pay either upfront money or over period of time, You can check more about AC here

Mahalo -  Mahalo is human powered search engine where articles are written by mahalo guides about topics which people are searching for. To apply for being a mahalo writer, check this page

About.com – If you are based in USA, you can become about.com guide who write articles for about.com. Many guides are permanent (though most of them are on contract basis) and they do get good money for it. You can apply for being a guide to about.com here

I am going to be honesst to you, you won’t get instant rich writing for these sites as their business model is such that you will only make money if they will make money but I know people are making decent money from these sites specially those who are working hard and can write good content.
