Microsuede is considered as a high quality delicate fiber made by man used for making curtains, beddings, shoes, decorating furniture and other accessories. Microsuede is a soft fiber and offers various benefits like it is highly durable, resistant to dirt and can be cleaned easily. Most of the people use this fiber for making beddings and curtains because it serves the advantage of being wrinkle resistant. It is suggested that an individual should clean, wash and dry the fiber first before incorporating it into the project in order to get high quality outcomes.
Things to remember:
• One should not wash the micro suede with soap and detergent powders and as it is water resistant so avoid rubbing the suede into the water which creates stains on the fiber. It is recommended to dab the suede with clean cloth rather than soaking it into the water causing permanent stains on the drips.
• Micro suede is recognized as a polyester fabric which can be cleaned using alcohols such as vodka, whisky etc. it is important to note that a little quantity of alcohol should be used while cleaning the suede and make sure the suede dry out completely in every attempt. The whole micro suede shouldn’t be cleaned at once as it will ruin the fiber.
• It is also advised that one should clean the fiber using tooth brushes as it will help in cleaning the corners of the suede and will help in cleaning it more efficiently and effectively.
Uses
There are various other suede cleaning products available in the market and clean the fiber carefully so that it do not cause any damage to the fabric. Micro suede is often used by furniture manufacturers for sofa sets and couches. People have well accepted this fiber that they are ready to pay high premium for high quality and comfort provided chairs and cushions made from micro suede.
Suede and leather
Micro suede and leather are basically made up from the same basic material but they quality wise they both are different from each other.
Texture wise suede is much softer than leather and mostly prefer opting suede in place of leather. Suede is more expensive than leather because of its high appearance, quality, appeal, softness and gentleness. Leather, on the other hand is easy to clean and suede leather is made from skins of animals like pigs, lambs, goats, tigers etc. suede leather has find its place in attractive bags, shoes, upholstery and other accessories.
