So Microsoft has introduced the new ASP.NET AJAX Framework which is known as ATLAS. This new AJAX framework from Microsoft is completely free and developers already working with ASP.NET serverside scripting can learn this new technology quite easily to create more efficient and interactive and highly configurable web applications.

The ASP.NET AJAX frameworks comes with serverside controls like Script Manager, Update Panel and Update Progress to integrate AJAX functionality to an existing ASP.NET program without separate Javascript coding. This new AJAX framework works with all leading browsers without any problem.
