Pay Per View (PPV)

Pay per view is programming option which could be selected by the viewer to watch whenever they wish to watch it by paying the private broadcasting amount for the provider. PPV (Pay per view) are simply video-on demand. The Pay per view programs includes movies, an important match between the local team with all time rival team, events and sometimes pornographic videos. There may be channels provided by your cable or satellite TV providers in your Television described as Pay per view channels.

Movies are usually released in theaters and after some days would be sold as DVDs, then later would reach more people as a PPV channel before it becomes a free movie through cable or satellite channels. Cable providers or Satellite providers collect PPV fees for providing recently released movies to you as a PPV movie. PPV option is the best one for viewers who do not wish to go out and watch the movies in theatres and love to enjoy movies in their own private space.

Some customers would like to watch all the episodes of their favoriteor programs or the episodes they happen to miss of their favourite soaps or events. The cable or satellite providers store such important programs in their servers and later release them to their customers as a PPV program. The charges would normally be 2$ for episodes and 5$ for a movie. The charges vary with respect to the cable or satellite providers we are subscribed with. The PPV programs could be replayed any number of times with in a specific time span allocated for that program by the provider.

Pay per view could be ordered in many ways
1) With the help of the TV remote just by selecting the PPV channel and confirming your order.
2) With the help of an interactive TV channel using the remote as a keyboard to chat you’re your provider before ordering the PPV program
3) With the help of telephone subscription by calling your cable or satellite provider to order the events you wish to watch.
