There are various methods from which you can easily record TV shows and DVD movies from your computer. To do that you must have a video output in the back of your computer. If you have that video output device then you can connect the video out into your regular TV. So, how do you can record your favorat shows from your TV and save it in your computer or DVD? Now If you have a video output device on your Computer you can easily record anything you want from TV. If you don’t have any kind of output device then don’t worry there are several way to do that. Well you can record from TV, if you have a TV on your computer by using a screen capture program. This is definiely not an appropriate option for you to choose because the resultant file will so large to handle.

The best way is to install a video card with TV out or video capture built into it on your computer. This is the most recommended way of recording your favorite TV show. They are not much expensive if you shop around. Some are available in build in tuners and some are capable of other fine and qualitative features.

Following steps must be followed to have the required results.

• Firstly, choose any of the above method to record your favorite serials and programs from TV.
• You must read the hardware book present in your hardware package completely and if not available use software like Power DVD, Ultra DVD etc. This software allows you to record from TV in the record panel.
• Now if you want to record the files (recorded form TV) to a DVD, you must have a DVD-RAW. With the help of DVD recording software you can record it on your DVD and can have a permanent copy of your favorite programs.

Precautions:

• You must confrim the recorded material after recording before burnig it on a DVD.
• The size of the recorded material must be within the limits of the size of DVD.
• If the size of the recorded material is larger than the DVD size, you can split the file into different parts (using a video triming software) and burn on two different DVDs.
• Must check and play the movie file on the DVD after burning.
