Strengths of Sony KDS R60XBR2

Sony KDS-R60XBR2 is a 60 inch rear projection TV, with an extremely decent appearance. Though it is huge, but its two tone color scheme makes it look smaller, which otherwise would have looked huge in monochrome black attire.

The remote control is user friendly, and can operate three more components. The menu is full of picture setting options and features that will add more pleasure to the experience. It has all the required connectivity options including Blu Ray, the latest addition to the Sony family. It has excellent resolutions in high definition mode.

The black levels are near to perfection, giving very intricate details of shadows. It has the picture in picture mode available.

Weaknesses of Sony KDS R60XBR2

The Sony KDS-R60XBR2 is wider than its competitors. The speakers protrude like an elephant’s ears and occupy more space. The remote is without a back light. The price is too high as compared to other rear projection systems available in the market.

The VGA port dose not performs as it is required to do. The PC input and other devices connected through VGA port do not give proper resolutions. It has an issue in resolving the primary colors accurately. The picture in picture option does not allow images to be displayed from HDMI or VGA ports.

My Opinion about Sony KDS R60XBR2

The Sony KDS-R60XBR2 is an expensive giant with almost nothing new to impress those who have used the previous model which is less expensive and has almost the similar features.
