Strengths of Vizio L37

The Vizio L37 is a 37 inch LCD TV which is a pretty decent LCD TV in appearance. It has a comparatively low price in comparison with its competitors. It has a brilliant picture in picture feature. It offers back light adjustment feature which gives you control over your TV light in relation to your ambient light.

The Vizio L37 gives a better level of black and shadow details in comparison with its competitors in this price range. It has excellent color accuracy and gives a very sharp image with high definition input.

Weaknesses of Vizio L37

The Vizio L37 is unnecessarily huge in its dimensions. The remote control is not very user friendly as it is cluttered with buttons and that too without a back light. It does not have adjustment menu for color temperature, but there are few preset modes for it, which practically don’t do much.

The S-Video port is missing. It has a slight issue with false contouring. It gives below average quality picture. It is not good in off angle viewing.

My Opinion of Vizio L37

Surprisingly the Vizio L37 is one of the hottest selling TV in the market with all its drawbacks. The reasons are its capability to give a near to perfect black and its price, which is at the moment the most reasonable, rather the least in the entire market. This makes Vizio L37 a primary choice for the masses.
