Scan and email Document

To Scan and email a Document immediately, you need a scanner, a PC/Laptop and an internet connection and your scanner have an established connection with your computer or laptop and also you have an already working internet connection.

Firstly, open your email address in any browser and then put the document that you want to be scanned and emailed on your scanner glass screen and open the HP director software. When the program shows you a message box asking for your permission to scan document on your screen then click on scan. Then it will want you to choose the type of object that you are going to scan. The best option to choose is Text and Graphics as image. Then it will asks you to save the image on your specified location. If you want to email it, you have to select email option and click on scan.

Now, a box will open and asks about document name. Just give the document a name. Now your scanner will take a little time to just roughly scan your document and show you the preview. Here in the preview section you can resize them by just clicking and dragging on that section of document which you want to be scanned. When you done selecting just press on accept and then the scanner will start the final scanning of your document.

After that a message shows you that the system is scanning to email and then it will ask you that do you want to save another document? Then a window will as to fill in the subject and then press send. Now you can close the scanner application that then email your scanned docment through the regular email process.

There is another alternative way of sending your scanned document. For that you just change the option from “Scan to Email” to “Scan to PDF” when the director as you about it. Then your whole document will be saved in PDF format which you can easily sent by attaching it to your email. Remember to ook at the document’s size before going to email your document.
