As we all know that wordpress control panel provides a feature through which admin and editors can view a set post and pages marked as private. But the Private Plus plugin allows other authenticated users to view posts and pages which are marked as private. It also enables you to determine which groups will be able to see private posts as well. So you can show your blog posts to only selected number of readers and people who belong to that group.

Private Plus is an easy to install and use plugin and after installation you can choose the lowest user level to view a private post from the plugins menu. This plugin handles private pages; users of the suitable level will be able to view pages that are marked as private. But you need to adjust the code in your template for your page navigation as per you requirement.

This plugin may not fit the situation of every blog, but in some cases you want your visitors to be authenticated to read private posts and pages as well. Private Plus will simply allow you to pre-define who can view these private posts.

Officially, Private Plus has been tested and released for with WordPress version 2.3 and 2.5 but it may work with other versions as well, you may need to do some hacking or else take help in wordpress forum.
