Stress management is all about considering your emotions, thoughts, opinions, view points, environment and how you deal with the problems. A well balanced life requires equal time and importance for relationship, work, relaxation, fun etc which in turn reduces stress, tensions and makes you the happiest person. If you have a control over your emotions, behavioral changes, thoughts and feelings, you can easily cope up with the stress. Stress management requires a positive attitude or a positive approach towards life. It makes you contented and focused.
Harmful ways of Stress management

A person should learn to say ‘No’, whenever required, whether in professional or personal life. Set your goals and work hard to achieve them. Refuse to accept added responsibilities that might create stress for you.
Avoid Current topics or Issues
If issues like politics, religion etc makes you upset and causes stress then avoid indulging into discussions on similar topics. Try and focus on things that make you happy and reduce strain.
Express yourself
Expressing yourself is one of the most effective measures that aids in reducing stress. Start expressing yourself! Communicate with others; share your feelings and opinions with your close friends or relatives. Do not make a habit of keeping everything in your heart. You can also engage yourself in diary writing involving entire day’s activities.
Be positive
Always be optimistic and focused as well as appreciate your work accomplishments. Consider your positive qualities and look for effective solutions to your problems. It will not only reduce your stress but will also make you strong enough to face the challenges.
