We have added a new section into the site Free Wordpress Themes where anyone can submit there free worpdress themes. I have already mailed to many desingers and wordpresss theme submitters which were in my contact list and I expecting good number of submissions of wordpress themes in comings days.

To submit a theme, you just need to fill this form http://themes.mwolk.com/submit (if you can register then you don’t have to fill the captcha too) and thats it. I will approve the theme submission in 24 hours. If you think I am taking time, then send me a mail through the contact form of the site and I will immediately approve it.

The logic of offering free wordpress theme was that though there are already many sites offering wordprss themes, I felt I can built something much better, say a community of wordpress developer or even a marketplace where designers and buyers can hang out. But this will come later, may be in 2010, right now I am expecting lot of themes in the directory, so start adding. Also do tell me if you like the design and anything else you want to see.

Two of the salient features of the MWolk theme directory is -

1. While submitting your theme, you can use your paypal address so people can donate you money. This probably won’t make you thousands of dollars but still if you are giving something for free, any earnings on that will only come as bonus. Also I have seen people do give donations generously on something which they like.

2. The author link for the themes is dofollow as I believe in giving credit where it is due. So if you are a designer, submit your theme, get a nice dofollow link and hopefully potential clients and work and also get donations.
