Bedbugs can become really a headache if ignored. Are you really concerned with them and want to treat bedbugs? Don’t waste your time and act on it immediately. It they are not treated on time, they might make our lives miserable. But if you have some allergic or phobia of any kind, it is always good to treat bedbugs at the earliest. Most of the times it so happens that we don’t realize the presence of bedbugs unless we get bitten. They are flat and tiny insects with white or dark brown color. They reside mostly in the mattress crevices and furniture where light is not able to find its way.

How to treat bedbugs: here are some tried and tested tips to treat bedbugs –

a) Start looking under the furniture and those dark areas which you tend to overlook while cleaning. Clean those infected areas well and scrub them with some brush. Wash the bed covers and linens properly in hot water and dry them properly. Use vacuum cleaner with long handles so that you can reach those corners and underlying areas under baseboards and wardrobes.

b) Use pesticides that contain permethrins which are quite effective. But make sure you handle them carefully as they are harmful for men. Keep in mind not touch the pesticides with bare hands.

c) Take your time to inspect the furniture and move them to allow fresh air and light reach the corners.

d) Try closing the cracks and crevices.

e) Clean all your clothes and luggage. Bedbugs can travel with you to any place you travel.

f) Products like bug patrol are also quite effective. They mostly come in spray bottles with long neck so that you can reach cracks and narrow areas.

g) DDT is also recommended to treat bedbugs.

h) If you are still not able to win over and completely treat bedbugs, it’s good to contact the pest control. They are learned and experience and can do this job easily.

If by any chance the bedbugs are found to be of the species that attach bats and birds, treat the nests. This is important to prevent increasing of population of the bedbugs. Overall, it is very important that you do not ignore this problem and treat bedbugs at the earliest.
