If you are wondering how to uninstall a printer, here is an article for you to help you uninstalling printer on windows XP or Vista.

Step 1
To uninstall a printer, first you need to plug in the specific port provided in the computer so that it is recognized when you start Your Pc. Now navigate & click on the “Start” button in the bottom left corner of your operating system. Now in start menu select “Control Panel.” IN the Control Panel windows navigate to the Printer icon. When you open the menu it will show all the printers that are currently installed on your PC.Now select the printer you wish to uninstall and click on “Delete Printer” button.

Step 2
A confirmation window will ask you “Are you Sure You Want to Delete This Printer?” Click on “Yes.” To confirm and Click on next to continue.

Step 3
In the next step of the un-installation process a new window will appear asking you if you would like to uninstall the related files for the printer including updates. Click on “Yes,” to remove all the files.

Step 4
After the un-installation process it is recommended to restart your computer for the changes to take effect. An automatic alert window may popup alerting you to restart. Click on “Restart Now.” To restart your PC immediately.

Step 5
If you are using a older version of operating system, you may have to manually restart by clicking on the “Start” button on the bottom left corner of your desktop and then restart. In Microsoft windows Vista just click on the power button located at the bottom of your start menu, and then select “Restart.”Upon rebooting your computer you will find that the old hardware is not listed anymore and is removed from your system.
