Uninstall Windows Defender

The Windows Defender is a utility program provided by Windows Vista operating system which gives real time protection for its users against all types of malicious activities. It basically helps filter out adware, spyware & other malicious programs and protects your PC from inadvertent user action by confirming before every action that may cause harm to ones PC.

Though it should be left active, but it many cases it may pose as an interruption for other spyware/malware detection software’s unless it is inactivated .

Instructions to uninstall Windows defender

Step 1: Click on the Start Menu in the bottom left corner of the desktop. Then navigate to your computer’s Control Panel.

Step 2: Now Select “Windows Defender” from the program icons menu. This will show the Windows Defender interface.

Step 3: Now Choose “Tools” tab on the top of the window. The Windows Defender control list panel will popup.

Step 4: Now Select “Options” from the dropdown list. Navigate to the bottom .Uncheck the option where it’s shown “Use Windows Defender” & click on “Save.” Click on the to continue

How to Disable Windows Defender’s Real-Time Protection

Step 1: Open Windows Defender from the control panel in Vista & navigate to the “Options” page .You can reach Windows defender in the control panel by Simply clicking on the following: “Start” >”All Programs,”>”Windows Defender” >”Tools”>”Options.”

Step 2: Scroll down the list of options and choose “Real-time Protection Options.”

Step 3: You can now select the “Use Real-Time Protection (Recommended)” option to select the restrictions you want to set on the Windows Defender application.

Step 4: Click on “Save” option to apply the changes you made.
