There are many Instant Messengers like Yahoo Messenger, AOL Messenger, & windows Live Messenger. All these messengers installed on your pc might make it unmanageable for you or and you might have trouble to keep up with online chat buddies. Step 1: First Click on the “Start Menu” positioned on the left hand side of your desktops task bar

Step 5: Click on “Yes” when prompted for final confirmation with the command “Are you sure you want to uninstall?”The Un-installation process will take few minutes to complete.

Step 6: Restart your pc to successfully complete the un-installation process.

Uninstalling Windows Messenger Service: The Windows Messenger Service is an inbuilt named component of Microsoft Windows operating system and comes preinstalled with Windows XP and VISTA .It cannot be uninstalled that simply. Practically it has nothing to do with online Instant Messaging, & can be turned off easily. Here is the process:

Step 1: Right Click on My Computer icon.

Step 2: Click on Manage tab

Step 3: Click over Services & Applications tab to expand it

Step 4: Now Click on Services

Step 5: From there Scroll down and click on Messenger

Step 6: A dialog box will open, set its Startup Type to Disabled.

Step 7: You can click on Stop to completely stop the services.

The Windows Messenger Service will no longer run in your computer, its completely disabled.
