One of the salient feature of uTorrent is its skin feature, so using utorrent skins, you can give it funky looks. Just follow the steps given below to install utorrent skins -

1. Visit http://utorrent.com/skins, the official website of uTorrent and download the skins available on the website. You can download as many skins as you want.
2. Just as the software is available for free, its skins too are available for free. Further, you can check out other sources of skins as well. The official website just happens to be the most convenient source of skins.
3. The skins have been divided into different components. You can download
1. Toolbars
2. Status Icons
3. Tab Icons
4. Program Icons

It is not necessary to change all components in one go. You can change even individual components of the program.

1. Enter the Application Data folder of your admin account in your computer. You can access this by typing “%appdata%” in Run command or go through the My Computer mode. Enter the uTorrent folder to make changes to the skin.
2. Copy the image file from the downloaded skin folder into the uTorrent folder. Replace all images with the downloaded skin if you want to change the appearance of the entire software.
3. On the other hand, if you just want to appearance of the status bar icons, tab bar icons or the main program icon, just copy the appropriate file and leave other files alone.
4. Rename the file named main.ico to tray.ico to change the tray icon of the program.

Once the changes have been made, simply restart uTorrent to see the effect of your change on the screen. This simple process is sufficient to change the appearance of your boring uTorrent layout to an interesting and cool layout.
