Google on 29th May launched Google Wave in a conference in Australia, you can look at the video (it is 80 minute video so you better be free). For those of you, who are wondering what is Google Wave ? it is an online collaborative program where developers can collaborate and communicate in the most easiest way with loads of features. It is still in very early stage and not available to public.

The only thing right now you can do is signup for the mailing list so when it is launched in beta stage, you get the invitations to use it. It is going to be opensource product so you can access the Google web API and code here. It is very difficult for me to comment on the product just by looking at the video but since it is opensource, I will always welcome it and since it is from Google, you expect it to be pretty good product, whether it will be success or another academic project, only time will tell.
