WP PostRatings - Ajax Star Ratings of Blog Posts
You must have seen many wordpress blogs having five star rating for every post (mostly light yellow and light green in color) and if you are also looking to introduce these Post ratings in your blog, just Install WP PostRatings Plugin.
WP Post ratings is a useful plugin for wordpress that allows your blog viewers to rate articles. This plugin runs on AJAX and equipped with traditional star, digg type etc options for rating. WP-PostRating comes with three kind of rating style, bars, squares and stars.
But the downside is, images are not in transparent background. So, when it comes to dark background it looks dull and you can see a white shade around the star or square images. However, you can change the images yourself if you are a graphics designer.
This plug-in uses GIF images, so you can create transparent GIF images with web2 look and simply replace old images from directory. But remember to scale newly created images. Also, for much better output you can use PNG images in lieu of GIF. To do this, you need to change the code as well because the default code contains GIF extension.
You can download WP PostRatings from here.

I use this plugin and my problem is, that I can only edit posts that I created after installing wp-postratings…
Any Idea?

well I am not using it but still i understand where you are coming from. The problem is, once you install the plugin, only then the table gets created and it gets updated when you create/edit after installation. It seems to be a bug, can you please ask it in wordpress forum or plugin home page.I am sure this is critical enough and must have been discussed before.
